Cutting Down on Articles for the Time Being

I have been writing at least 4 articles per week for almost a year now. I’m tired. And I feel like I’m not putting out the best content I can. I am feeling the pressure of having to produce, and that is causing me stress and anxiety. It is also causing me to put off writing until the last minute, because I don’t want to do it.

I don’t like that at all, and I certainly don’t want to get to the point where I resent writing — because I really do love it.

In order to combat this, I have decided to cut down. I will still post my weekly tip, which also serves as the topic for my podcast. Then, I will only write 1 or 2 articles per week in addition to that, depending on how I’m feeling and what I have to say.

To be honest, I’d rather give you one great article than 3 mediocre ones.

This will most likely not be permanent. I’ll have to see how it goes. If I find that I have more to say, I’ll definitely write more. For the time being, I’m filing it under “self-care.”

Thanks for sticking with me and reading what I have to say. If you have any comments for me, or any article suggestions, please send an email to lisa@lisasealey.com. I love to hear from my readers/followers.
