You know that one person. The person who always seems to get everything done on time, have everything under control, and never seems stressed or frazzled. How do they do that? What’s their secret?

Here are some habits and characteristics of highly efficient people:

They value their time.

Highly efficient people understand that time is their most precious resource. They spend it on the things that are most important to them, and they use it wisely.

They set priorities.

They are adept at realizing what is essential and what isn’t, and they set priorities to focus their time and energy on things that matter to them.

They delegate.

They know and understand that they can’t do everything themselves — and they don’t want to. They delegate tasks to others to free up their time to work on things that require their personal attention.

They make lists.

List-making helps you to be efficient and organized. Highly efficient people make lists and use them to plan their daily tasks.
