Having Big Feelings Today

I have been excited for my kid to do this summer college program for months. We are just about ready to leave the hotel to drop him off, and I find that I’m quite emotional about it.
It’s not being away from him. He’s been off to Scout summer camp before, and we were all fine. This program is only 9 days. That’s fine too. I’m ok with that.
