How To Keep Your Storage Tubs Organized

How many times have you looked at your storage tubs and had no idea what is in them? Wouldn’t it be great if you could glance at them and know? Here’s how:

1. Get a clear sticker pocket and put it on each storage tub.
2. Make numbers, or letters, for each tub. I just print them on my printer.
3. Put the numbers or letters in the sticker pockets.
4. Take an inventory of each tub. Write everything down on a sheet of paper, and make sure to put at the top of the paper which number or letter tub it corresponds to.
5. Put each piece of paper in a binder that you keep where your tubs are. Make sure to label the binder so you know what’s in the binder.

Voila!

Now, when you’re searching for something, you just need to look at the binder to figure out which tub the item is in. No more hauling all of them down/out and digging through them.
