Organizing Tip For Cookie-Makers
The holidays are coming, and one of the things that I love to do is bake, especially cookies of all kinds and shapes. Consequently, I have a large number of cookie cutters. They are not easy to store, but I have a few different solutions for you.
#1 — Keep them in your cookie jar.
Don’t have a cookie jar? See tip #2 and tip #3.
Of course, when you have made cookies and need the jar, this won’t help, but during the rest of the year when you’re not using them, it’s a great place to put them.
So what do you do when your cookie jar is in use? Or you have so many that they won’t all fit in the cookie jar?
#2 — Keep the cookie cutters in a mesh or cloth bag that you can hang on a hook in your pantry.
But what if you don’t have a pantry?
#3 — Place them in food storage bags (or you can use plastic or mesh bags; whatever you have on hand will work) so that the bags lay flat. That way they will take up minimal room and you can store them in your kitchen drawers or cabinets.
