Podcast Episode 11 — Organizing Your Shoes
Let’s be honest. You probably have more shoes than you’ll ever wear. I’m sure that there is at least one pair that you bought for a special occasion that hasn’t been worn since.
You have good intentions.
You tell yourself, “One day I’ll wear those again — they’re so great”! Or pretty. Or comfy.
But that day never happens, and you’re stuck with a pair of shoes that you haven’t worn in 20 years.
I’ll tell you how I know. I had a beautiful pair of shoes that were my “dressy, black” shoes. I didn’t go to many fancy occasions, but I had them just in case. I wore them to our friends’ wedding.
Back in 2000.
They hurt my feet then. And that was before I had a kid and my foot grew a half size. But I kept them, because, well, I don’t exactly know why. But I recently came across them again when I was going through my closet, and decided that once and for all, they needed to go. I donated them.
It’s time to get YOUR shoes organized now.
Let’s start with the decluttering.
Pull out every pair of shoes. This includes all footwear — boots, clogs, running shoes or sneakers, dressy shoes, and everyday shoes.
