Today I want to talk about how to organize your digital life. You may have heard me talk about some of these before, but I wanted to give you a good list to refer to.

Use the “unsubscribe” button liberally.

How many newsletters do you receive in your inbox that you have yet to read? Be honest. Instead of deleting them, unsubscribe from them. You know who you want to follow, and you can always visit their websites to learn the latest information.

Use the “unfollow” button on social media.

We all know those people on Facebook who can’t go a few minutes without being dramatic or writing a negative post. If their posts annoy or bring you down, unfollow them. You will remain friends, but their posts won’t appear in your feed.

Use a password manager.

Seriously. Don’t keep a list on paper (which can be lost) near your computer, or keep a list in a Google sheet (which could be hacked). Instead, use a password manager to keep track of your accounts and login information. It will save you a lot of time, not to mention headaches.

Delete unused apps from your phone.
