Have you heard of Lazy Susans?

They are circular, revolving trays that can be used for various things. They come in different sizes and configurations. They are usually made of wood, plastic, or glass. Here are a few ways to use them:

You can use them on your table for condiments or other food. A friend of mine uses a large one for her Taco Tuesdays. She gives everyone their taco shells on their plates, and then the meat, beans, lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, and other toppings are all in bowls on the Lazy Susan. Everyone can reach it and turn it as needed to get what they want to build their tacos.

You can use them in the refrigerator to keep track of your smaller jars of condiments and other items. For example, mine has a small jar of minced garlic, a spice-bottle-sized container of bacon bits, a skinny jar of green olives, a small jar of dill relish, and a small jar of fig spread.

You can use them on your kitchen counter or in cabinets to organize spices or canned food. I have a double-decker one near my stove, and that’s where I keep the spices and baking ingredients I always reach for when cooking and baking.
