Picture this: It’s 4:30, and you’re about to leave work. You know that your daughter has ballet practice at 6:30, and your son has band practice at 6:00. You need to get home, get dinner on the table, and the kids where they need to be. You’ve got a plan.

And then you remember that you’re supposed to attend the booster club meeting at 7:00.

I know what’s going through your mind. You’re thinking, “I just can’t.”

You’re stressed out. Burnt out. And oh so tired.

But you’re obligated.

You’re also thinking, “How did this happen?” and more importantly, “How can I make this not happen again?”

I’ve got the answer for you.

It’s a simple answer, but it’s not so simple to do. It takes practice.

Sometimes a lot of practice. But it will get easier, and you can totally do it.
