Last week I talked about updating your calendar for the next six months. One of the things I touched on was holiday craft projects. I thought I’d take some time this week to delve into that a little bit more.

Obviously, not everyone does holiday crafts. Or any crafts, for that matter. If you’re one of those people, this episode or article probably won’t interest you. You might, though, find that you’re able to adapt what I’m going to tell you to other areas of your life, so I invite you to keep listening or reading.

I am a crocheter. I like to make things. Funnily enough, I do not like to crochet clothes. I like making other things like dishcloths, afghans, blankets, baby blankets, car seat blankets for babies, etc. I do sell them, and if you’re interested in seeing what I have to offer, go to www.crochetbylisa.com.

Because I am constantly making things, I have a good inventory on hand that I can pull from if I decide I want to give something to someone. Or, sometimes, I decide to make something new, and when that happens, I like to make sure I have enough time to finish the project in plenty of time so I’m not stressing about it. This is where the organizing comes in.

I like to start thinking about what I’m going to make for holiday gifts in July.
