Today I want to talk about some more easy ways to organize your home.

Write a Weekly or Monthly Cleaning Schedule

It’s easier to keep your home clean and organized when you have a schedule. Do laundry on Mondays and Thursdays. Change and wash the sheets on Tuesdays and Fridays. Clean the bathroom on Wednesdays and dust and mop/vacuum/swiffer on Saturdays. Clean out the refrigerator on the first Sunday of the month. Choose whatever days work best for you for each thing you have to do, and try your best to stick to the schedule. Once it becomes routine, you won’t have to think about it any more.

Sort Your Wardrobe

Donate items that don’t fit you anymore or that you don’t wear anymore because your tastes have changed. If a piece of clothing needs repair, make plans to do that or get it done. If things need to go to the dry cleaner, take them out and do that. Everything in your closet should be something you want to wear and ready to go. And speaking of clothes:

Finding your cute sundress or favorite swimsuit is much easier when you don’t have four winter coats in the way. Put them in clear plastic bins that can be stored in your garage, basement, on your closet shelves, or under your bed. You can also…
