Today I want to talk about two of my favorite things: delegation and automation.
Look, as moms we take on a lot. And usually more than we need to. The fact is, people don’t know we need help unless we tell them. Let’s start telling them.
Here are some things that you can delegate to your family members
1. laundry (sorting, washing, folding, putting away)
2. washing the dishes
3. cleaning the bathroom
4. yard work
5. changing sheets
6. taking out the trash
7. vacuuming
8. mopping
9. pet care (feeding, walking, cleaning and filling water bowls, cleaning the litter box)
10. setting and clearing the table
11. cooking simple meals
12. dusting
13. washing windows
Some tasks might be too advanced for some of your kids — you’ll need to decide what they can and can’t do based on their ages, interest, and maturity level.
