Podcast Episode 80 — 8 Self-Care Habits That Will Change Your Life
Adopt these habits as soon as you can.
Today I want to talk about self-care.
Like most people, you probably do a good job caring for the most important people in your life, but you probably forget the most important person — you.
Look at it this way: The better care you take of yourself, the better you’ll be able to care for others. It’s essential to take care of yourself daily. Here are eight self-care habits to adopt:
Take a nightly walk — alone.
You’re killing two birds with one stone when you go for a walk alone. You’re getting exercise, but it’s also a great time to think. Part of your mind is occupied with moving your legs and maintaining your balance. The rest of your brain is free to think creatively.
Use positive affirmations.
Negative self-talk is the norm for a lot of people. We all have a critical inner voice. You can undo this and give yourself a better perspective on life by using positive affirmations. Come up with a few and repeat them to yourself in the morning, evening, or throughout the day. Over time, you’ll be pleased with the results.
