Podcast Episode 1 — The #1 Tip to Start Organizing Your Life

Before we get to your tip, let me tell you the story about how I learned to organize my life.

Not just parts of it like decluttering my house or figuring out what to do with my paperwork.

My entire life.

I was a wife and mom who thought she had her life pretty organized.

I had a calendar.

I had a to-do list.

I had a fondness for spreadsheets.

I also had a husband and a kid in school. I volunteered as team mom for my son’s various sports, band mom, Scout mom, and I was on the board of the band booster club. I wrote and edited articles for a Disney-focused blog.

I was also the primary caregiver for my mom. At the time, she had cancer and required weekly chemotherapy as well as dialysis 3 times per week. And lots of doctor appointments that I needed to attend.

I was busy.

I started out wanting to be able to have some time for myself each day — even if it was only 30 minutes. I also wanted to stop running around all day, every day, feeling like I didn’t get anything done.

The thing is, I was getting things done.
