What does self-care look like for you?

I used to be really bad at taking care of myself. I’m a mom and wife — I have to take care of my husband and kid first, right?

Wrong.

You’ve heard the saying, “If Mama ain’t happy, nobody is happy.” It’s true.

You need to take time for yourself each day. Even if it’s just a few minutes.

Even if it’s just to be able to go to the bathroom in peace. Or to drink your coffee, in silence, before it gets cold. Or to meditate. Whatever self-care looks like for you. Find a few minutes and get it done. If you need help finding time in your day for you, let me know. I can help with that.

YOU are just as important as everyone else in your life. Take the time to care for yourself. Make it non-negotiable. Everyone will be happier for it.
