Slowing Down
I ended 2020 on a high note. I’d launched my podcast. I’d written, recorded, edited, and uploaded all of December and January’s episodes. I’d created and scheduled my blog posts, social media posts, and newsletters for December and January. I was all set to start the new year going full speed ahead.
And then life happened.
- I had to get a new bed, which lead to a major decluttering spree.
- I had a major realization that I needed help with marketing, because what I was doing wasn’t working.
- I found, started, and completed a 30-day marketing challenge. I learned a lot. So much that my head is still spinning and I’m still processing all of it.
Now I am finding myself slowing down.
Not because I’m balking at the work. It’s because I’m feeling the need to retreat into my creative cave so that I can better concentrate on re-creating my content in a way that is marketable, yet still bears my personality.
Plus, I’m still having to keep up with writing the content for the blog posts and podcast episodes as well as social media content. The good news is that I have the March and April social media posts completed and scheduled. This weekend I’ll work on the March podcast episodes (and accompanying blog posts) and get those recorded, edited, and uploaded. Then I’ll move on to…
