Streaming Services
We used to have a satellite dish for our viewing pleasure. We also had Amazon Prime video, because I am an Amazon Prime member. We realized that we were paying a lot for our dish and not utilizing half of what it had to offer, so we decided to cut the cord.
Now we exclusively have streaming services. We have Netflix, Hulu, Starz, Disney+, and Amazon Prime video. We also have an antenna for local channels.
I was concerned at first that there would be an adjustment period and that I would find something that I wanted to watch but couldn’t get. I am very happy to report that I was wrong. I don’t miss the dish at all.
And best of all? I’m paying about one quarter of the amount that I was paying for the dish. Yay for saving money!
If you want a quick way to save some money, I highly recommend doing an audit of your dish/cable service to see if switching to streaming services would benefit you.
