It’s really simple, too.

If you’re confused about how to be more productive and are having trouble moving forward to achieve your goals, this one tip is going to change everything. It doesn’t matter if you’re trying to get through a challenge, build a new income stream, or get healthy — this works for any goal you want to tackle.

The only action that matters is: action.

Yes, I know.

That sounds really simplistic. But action is the work; the steps; the “action” necessary to accomplish your goals.

People often create new plans and ideas — sometimes repeatedly — but never take the necessary first step (or steps) to make them happen. As long as you create a realistic action plan for your goals, you’ll be on your way.

But how do you create a realistic action plan?

Start with Main Objectives

What is your mission or goal? Is it clear and well-defined? Take the time to figure it out. Once you have, think of 3 to 5 main objectives that will get you to that goal.

Break Them Down

Once you have your main objectives, take each one and break it down into a few smaller, actionable steps. Try to get 2–5 for each objective.
