Welp. Sometimes Planning and Being Organized Can Only Get You So Far….

Being organized doesn’t mean being perfect. Even organized people can make mistakes or forget things. Granted, it happens much less when one is organized, but it still happens. Today, it was my turn.

I thought I had it all figured out. I thought I was ready.

I recorded, edited, uploaded, and scheduled my first podcast episode to Podbean. I submitted it to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts for approval.

I was approved on Apple and Spotify. Google is still pending.

It was published.

I promoted it on my social media accounts.

And then.

Then, I received a message from a dear friend:

“Hey, when listening to your podcast it ends with ‘But there is a slight catch.’ Is that how it’s supposed to end?”

Um, no. No it’s not.

PANIC! FREAKING OUT! WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED???

And, on another note, SERIOUSLY? My FIRST podcast episode, and I messed it up????

Cue me frantically pulling out my microphone and setting it up to re-record the missing part. All while listening to the uploaded version to see what happened. Then listening to my raw audio file and…
