What I’m Reading This Month
I was finally able to sit down and read for pleasure this month. I have two books to tell you about.
First up is Fortune and Glory by Janet Evanovich. This is book 27 in the Stephanie Plum series. I have read all of them. I’ve even read some of them twice. This one, like the other 26 before it, is fast-paced, humorous, and well-written. I read it in two days.
Janet Evanovich is one of my favorite writers, and she is one of a very few who make me laugh out loud while reading her books. If you haven’t checked her out yet, start with book 1 in the Stephanie Plum series. You’ll love it.
The other book I wanted to give you a review on is The Awakening by Nora Roberts. This is book 1 of her Dragon Heart Legacy trilogy. Unfortunately, I got behind and have just started it so I can’t really tell you if I love it or not, but I am a fan of Nora Roberts. I do usually find her books interesting and engaging, which is why I picked this one up without having even read the blurb.
