What I’m Reading This Month

I slowed down a bit on my reading this month. I’ve been working on my business stuff and my crochet stuff (which is also business stuff) and I didn’t devote as much time to reading as I usually do. Here’s what I did manage to read:

Spring House by Mary Ellen Taylor. This one I found through Prime Reading on Amazon. I had not heard of this author before. I have to say that I quite enjoyed it. It was an easy read, and the characters were compelling. The story was interesting, and I found myself staying up later than I wanted some evenings because I didn’t want to put it down.

Dax by Kat Mizera. I know I’ve mentioned Kat before, but as long as she puts out books, I’ll read them. She has several series, and this is a crossover novel between her Las Vegas Sidewinders series and her Royal Protector series. I love everything that she’s ever written, and Dax was no exception. Of course, since I’ve read all of her books, I knew the characters already — but don’t let that stop you. You don’t need to know the history to dive into this book. But fair warning: it will make you want to go read everything else so you can learn the history. You’re welcome.
