What I’ve Been Reading

I actually have several books to tell you about. I’m thrilled that I was able to read so many. It was wonderful taking December off and having lazy afternoons to cuddle up on the couch with a book.

  1. Knight Before Christmas by Kat Mizera. This is actually book 4 in a 4-book series, but you don’t need to read the other three for this one to make sense. I read them all, and enjoyed them — but Kat’s was my favorite. If you like hockey and Hallmark movies, you’ll LOVE this book. I can totally see this becoming a Hallmark Christmas movie one day!
  2. The Wolf by J.R. Ward. I am not as enamored of these stories that are a spinoff of her Black Dagger Brotherhood series as I am of the original series, but it was not a bad read. I think I just love the main core characters so much that it’s difficult to get as involved with what I consider to be “satellite” characters. But if you’re a fan of her writing and other books, definitely give it a go.
  3. Game On: Tempting Twenty-Eight (Stephanie Plum book 28) by Janet Evanovich. I love Janet Evanovich. She is one of the only writers that causes me to laugh out loud — hard — when I’m reading. If you have read any of the other Stephanie Plum books, definitely read this one. It doesn’t disappoint.
  4. The Becoming: The Dragon Heart Legacy, Book 2 by Nora Roberts. I also am a long-time fan of Nora Roberts. If…
