I picked a new pattern this month to work on. It’s a baby blanket. The pattern is the Circle of Hope blanket by Sarah-Jayne Fragola of Bella Coco Crochet. The yarn is Paintbox Simply DK, and I used the colors Paper White, Peach Orange, Daffodil Yellow, Washed Teal, and Pale Lilac. The pattern calls for a 4mm hook, but I found that to be too small for my liking. I used a Furls Odyssey hook, size I, which roughly translates to 6mm.

I changed things up a bit with the pattern too. As made, it had Pale Lilac as the joining color, and the border was different too. I chose to use the Peach Orange as the joining color, and I did one row of single crochet around the edge in that same color. I also added a scalloped edge in white. Here’s the finished product:

Do you knit or crochet? What are you working on?
